I created a "27th letter" to add to the alphabet by forming the letter sequence "ies" into one form. Before selecting a letter sequence to turn into one letter, I studied prefixes and suffixes.
After coming up with the final form, I then created a poster featuring the new letter. I chose to use it in the word "magnifies", which I continued the theme by showing a part of the letterform zoomed in to reveal the alphabet with the letters i, e, and s standing out. The 27th letter is repeated and gradually changes size leading to the Sherlock Holmes quote, "The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes".
